Decals
Keep logo and label images in one library, and record the inks each logo prints with.
The Decals page holds the logo and label images in your workspace. You place them on products through decal slots: each variant of a model can put a different logo from this library in the same slot.
Reach it at Asset Library → Decals, or directly at /library/decals.
What's on the page
- Toolbar - Count of decals, search, All / Favorites, sort, and Add decal.
- Asset grid - Decal cards, each showing the image. The Add decal tile comes first.
- Card actions - Right-click a card to favorite or delete it. Select several cards to delete them together.
Uploading a decal
Select Add decal, or drop an image anywhere on the page. Each upload is one image in PNG, JPG, or WEBP format. Transparent PNGs keep their transparency, so export logos with a transparent background when you can.
You can close the upload window while it runs; the upload continues in the background and the decal appears in the library shortly.
Decals you add are workspace-scoped, so everyone in your workspace can use them.
Recording a logo's inks
Click a decal card to open it. Under Inks, list the colors the logo is printed with. Production files print this list for every slot that uses the logo.
Each ink has:
- Name - such as "Navy" or "White".
- Pantone code (optional) - such as 281 C. White and black need no Pantone code.
- Swatch color (optional) - a hex value such as #1F2A44, used for the swatch.
Each ink needs a name or a Pantone code. Use Add ink to add a row, the arrows to reorder, and X to remove one. Choose Save inks to keep your changes, or Discard to undo them.
Paste from spec
If a client's spec sheet already lists the logo's colors, paste that line into Paste from spec and choose Fill inks from spec. For example, 2 color / white / navy pan 281 c fills in two inks: white, and navy with Pantone 281 C.
Check the filled rows, then choose Save inks. Nothing is saved until you do. A note flags anything it could not read, such as a Pantone code it did not recognize or a color count that does not match the inks found. If the spec names a decoration method, the note reminds you to set it on each slot that uses this logo, on the variant's page.
Using decals
Decals are placed in the studio or chosen on a variant's page, not from this page:
- In the studio - Select a decal slot, then choose Assign logo. See Decal slots.
- On a variant's page - Choose a logo for each slot in the Decal slots section. See Logos per variant.
Both show the same decals you see here.
Filtering and finding
- All / Favorites - Toggle between every decal and the ones you've starred.
- Search - Filter decals by name.
- Sort - Order by newest or oldest.
