Photo Mode

Photo mode is your virtual photo studio for capturing product shots from any angle. You compose your scene, save camera positions as angles, and export high-resolution images — all without physical equipment or technical photography skills.

Each angle stores your camera position along with all relevant settings — focal length, focus, exposure, and product positioning. When your composition looks right, Glossi renders high-resolution exports with a single click, and you can export multiple angles and product variants simultaneously.

When to Use Photo Mode

Photo mode works best for:

• E-commerce product catalog images
• Marketing materials showing multiple angles
• Product variations (colors, materials, configurations)
• Detail shots highlighting specific features
• Creating consistent imagery across product lines

Accessing Photo Mode

Photo mode is selected by default when you open a project. If you're in Video mode, click the "Photo" tab in the top toolbar to switch. The interface will update, showing angles in the bottom panel instead of video clips.

Interface Overview

In Photo mode, the studio layout includes:

• Viewport — The central working area where your model is displayed in real-time as you adjust settings.
• Angles Panel (bottom) — All saved camera positions listed as angles. Click any angle to snap the viewport to it. You can add, select, and delete angles from here.
• Edit Panel (right sidebar) — When an angle is selected, the right sidebar shows its properties and settings, including:
  • Camera position and angle
  • Focal length and focus
  • Exposure settings (ISO, shutter speed, f-stop)
  • Product position and rotation

Working with Angles

Angles are saved camera positions that capture a specific view of your model. If your project was created from a template, it will come with preset angles already configured (e.g., front view, side view, three-quarter view).

You can:

• Add angles — Find a new view in the viewport and save it as an angle.
• Switch between angles — Click any angle in the panel to preview it instantly.
• Edit angles — Select an angle and adjust its camera or exposure settings in the right sidebar.
• Delete angles — Remove angles you no longer need.

Angles make it easy to establish standard views for your products, switch between them seamlessly, and export multiple perspectives in a single batch.
