Exports

📁 Exports in Glossi

Glossi transforms complex 3D rendering into a streamlined, browser-based export process. Generate professional-quality images and videos without the lengthy render times typically associated with 3D software. By leveraging cloud rendering, Glossi delivers high-quality outputs while keeping your local resources free.

Glossi offers two distinct export workflows - Photo Mode and Video Mode - each optimized for their specific use cases.

Whether you need still product images for your e-commerce site or dynamic presentations for video clips for a product ad, the export interface provides easy settings to achieve your desired results.

🎬 Video Exports

Video Mode enables creation of dynamic product presentations, currently focused on exporting complete animation sequences as single video files.

🔄 Coming Soon: Individual clip export functionality will allow you to export specific segments of your timeline separately.

Media Presets

  • Fastest (MP4) (efficient file sizes)

    • Processing Time: 2-3 minutes

⚙️ Advanced Export Settings

While Glossi's standard export presets are designed to meet most needs, we provide advanced rendering controls for users who require precise output customization. These settings offer professional-grade control over the rendering process, similar to what you'd find in desktop 3D applications.

Note: These settings significantly impact render time and quality. For most use cases, the default export settings will provide excellent results.

Pro Export Options:

1. Screen Space Percentage (0-100%):

Controls the internal rendering resolution before final output.

  • Higher values (e.g., 100%) produce sharper images with more detail

  • Lower values render faster but may reduce fine detail

  • Particularly noticeable on complex materials and sharp edges

2. Anti-Aliasing Methods

Controls how edges and details are smoothed in your final output. Each method offers a different balance between quality and render time:

  • Off

    • The most basic rendering mode with no anti-aliasing applied. This option provides the fastest render times but may result in jagged edges. Best used for draft exports when you need quick iterations.

  • Samples:

    • Options: (Off, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x)

    • A simple edge smoothing technique that offers a good balance between speed and quality. This method works particularly well for still images and has minimal impact on render time, making it ideal for basic product photography.

  • TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing):

    • Options: (Off, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 16x)

    • Specifically impacts motion quality and noise in animations. An advanced smoothing algorithm that excels with animated content. It effectively reduces flickering in motion while maintaining good image quality. Expect moderate impact on render times, but the results are worth it for professional animation work.

  • TSR (Temporal Super Resolution):

    • Options: (Off, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 16x)

    • Our highest quality upscaling method, perfect for final deliverables that demand maximum detail preservation. While it has the longest render times, it delivers superior results that meet professional standards.

When should I use advanced settings?

Consider using advanced settings when:

  • Creating final deliverables for professional use

  • Working with complex materials or lighting

  • Generating high-resolution marketing assets

  • Dealing with challenging scenes (high contrast, fine detail)

  • Quality requirements exceed standard preset capabilities

  • .
